Well...now I can finally cross this off my bucket list.

If you've been under a rock like me - Harry Potter is the story of an orphaned boy who's sent to live with his trifling Aunt, Uncle, and husky cousin who neglect and abuse young Harry. Harry is a legacy wizard who's parents are killed by the evil Voldemort, and somehow Harry survives which leaves the owls, witches, and wizards of the world to rejoice. When he becomes of age, the wizards send for Harry to attend the prestigious wizard's boarding school Hogwarts. There Harry makes friends, and after a rocky start, discovers his talent for magic.

I forced my way through this book, but I'm glad I did. This is such a beloved classic, it really was about time I read it. I guess now I have to read all the others.

Recommendation - You've probably already read this for the fifth time - so don't even judge me... Just shut your mouth and move on to the next review.

Audience: Tweens and up - even though I bet my five year old would like it.
