What an enjoyable little gem of a book. I really enjoyed this one. I laughed, cried, felt all the feelings....it gt a little unhinged towards the end of the book, but overall this was a very witty and endearing novel.
Leona Accorsi is living on the margins. She's 39 years old, in the process of getting her nursing degree online, and living in her sister's basement. After a routine gynecological exam, her OB/GYN informs her that her biological clock is running out of time. After researching all of the expensive ways to get pregnant as there is no mating partner in her foreseeable future, Leona reaches down into the darkest parts of her soul in order to figure out if motherhood is worth the anguish....and then she has her pragmatic older sister to remind her of all her flaws and how she's not cut out to be a mother.... The dynamic between these sisters alone makes it worth the read.
Recommendation: READ IT! It's so charming, and funny, and good! Very enjoyable.
Audience: Millennials and beyond
